Joy Hollander-Fink MA. CCC-SLP

 

Joy has been enjoying her career as a speech-language pathologist since 2000. She has worked in various settings including public and private schools, clinics, preschools, early intervention and has mentored numerous graduate student clinicians. In addition to treating children with speech and language delays and disorders, she has extensive training in oral placement and feeding therapy. 

 

Joy previously worked at Sara R. Johnson and Associates and was trained by Sara Rosenfeld Johnson and Lori Overland. Joy is highly trained in diagnosing children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) and has evaluated children in conjunction with Dr. Marilyn Agin of New York City, co-author of The Late Talker, What to Do If Your Child Is Not Talking Yet, (St. Martin's Press, 2003). 

 

Joy is also trained in various methods in treating children with motor speech disorders including the multi-dimensional PROMPT method.Based in Allendale, NJ, Joy evaluates and treats children privately and provides consultations in school programs, including programs for children presenting with Autism. Joy also contracts with public and private schools for speech and language services. Joy is licensed in both New Jersey and New York in addition to holding elementary and secondary English teaching certifications.

 

 

 

 

Jill Hollander MA. CCC-SLP

 

Jill Hollander has vast experience as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in New Jersey. She has experience working in various environments including early intervention, adult rehabilitation centers, private clinics, private schools, and private practice. Jill is trained in oral placement therapy and feeding therapy. Additionally, Jill is trained in the multi-dimensional PROMPT method. Jill has extensive experience working with children with autism and collaborating with behaviorists.
 
Jill is skilled at working with children presenting with the following: Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), early language delays, receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language deficits, cognitive deficits, articulation errors, phonological processes, difficulties with feeding, and oral placement deficits.
 
Also based in Allendale, NJ, Jill evaluates and treats children privately and provides consultations in school programs, including programs for children presenting with Autism. Jill also contracts with public and private schools for speech and language services. Jill has a heartfelt approach to working with clients and their family members. Jill enhanced her empathetic and compassionate nature through her course work, and clinical experience while earning her undergraduate degree in sociology with a concentration in direct care.
