A Rewarding Process!
"The prize is in the process."
Baron Baptiste
Helping children develop or improve their speech and language skills is a rewarding process. Working closely with families to reach their goals is a collaborative and enriching experience. We can provide, insight, tips, support, and therapy techniques to help enhance your child's speech and language abilities.
Engaging your child in enjoyable activities such as singing songs, rolling a ball back and forth, and a game of Simon Says are both fun and effective ways to work on language skills. These activities will encourage your child to follow simple directions, take turns, develop joint attention skills, and promote productions of sounds, words, phrases, and sentences. The extent to which your child responds to these techniques will vary depending on your child's skill level.
We hope that you find these tips helpful. To receive more information or to inquire about therapy for your child please contact us.
We look forward to hearing from you!
